African Startup Team

We believe in the power of African Ingenuity

greenlabs is more than an incubator. We are a movement dedicated to unlocking the potential of climate-smart entrepreneurs across the continent.

Greenlabs Team Workshop

It started with a Seed

Founded in 2018, greenlabs emerged from a simple observation: African entrepreneurs had the most innovative solutions to climate change, but lacked the capital and mentorship to scale them.

What began as a small workshop in Nairobi has grown into a pan-African ecosystem. We realized that charity alone isn't sustainable—business is. By empowering local founders to build profitable, green businesses, we create a cycle of growth that lifts entire communities.

Today, we work with partners like the World Bank and Microsoft to deliver world-class acceleration programs that turn ideas into impact.

Our Mission

To discover, fund, and scale 1,000 climate-tech startups by 2030, creating 1 million jobs and offsetting 10 million tons of CO2.

Our Vision

A resilient, prosperous Africa where economic growth and environmental stewardship go hand in hand, powered by homegrown innovation.
